CANTON FAIR: 134th edition kicks off October 15

The China Import and Export Fair, also known as Canton Fair, an important channel for China's opening up, will kick off on Sunday, October 15. The Canton Fair plays a key role in promoting China's foreign trade development and economic and trade exchanges between China and the rest of the world. It is considered China's "No. 1" fair.
The Canton Fair is co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC and the People's Government of Guangdong Province and is organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre. It is held every spring and autumn in Guangzhou, China. Since its establishment in 1957, the Canton Fair has enjoyed a number of firsts, including having the most editions, the largest buyer participation and the best turnover in China out of 133 sessions. The last one attracted foreign buyers from 229 countries and regions, of which 129,006 participated on-site and 390,574 online. 

For the 134th edition, sections of the fair will be adapted and optimized both on-site and online, while the functions of the official website have been revised to create a better experience for buyers. Exhibition categories and stage layout will be optimized. Industry leaders, high-quality companies, and companies with distinctive features will be organized to participate in the fair. In addition, more new products, green and low-carbon products, smart and innovative products will be included, World-renowned enterprises representing their industry will participate, and industry clusters will exhibit selected products. 40 matchmaking events are planned. 8 activities involving interaction with companies, 6 to 8 industry forums focusing on major exhibition categories. More than 200 product launch activities and an award ceremony will be organized.   

Through careful preparation, the Fair will provide comprehensive, one-stop services for global buyers at this session, including on-site courtesies, attendance incentives, etc. New and repeat buyers will be able to take advantage of online or on-site services before, during and after the fair, such as the latest news and core values for global fans through major overseas social media platforms. 
The International Pavilion was opened in the 101st session to promote balanced import and export growth. Over the past seventeen years, through the steady improvement of specialization and internationalization, the International Pavilion has offered foreign enterprises great convenience in exploring the Chinese and global market. Located in all three phases, the International Pavilion boasts an area of 30,000 square meters, with 10,000 square meters in each phase.

Phase 3: October 31-November 4, 2023;
Intervals: October 20-22 and October 28-30, 2023.

September 16, 2023-March 15, 2024
