Edu Export Bootcamp, the path to help companies internationalize their business

The Edu Export Bootcamp initiative was officially launched by on November 16 with an event in Milan and provides for the partnership of partners such as Boston Consulting Group, Italy China Foundation, ICE Agency, MOCA, Netcomm, Poste Italiane and others. From 25 November to 16 December, participating companies will be able to attend 9 modules of interactive lessons to learn more about the tools for exporting all over the world., the B2B marketplace part of the Alibaba Group, has always been alongside SMEs and this year strengthens its commitment through the launch of the Edu Export Bootcamp, an intense month of courses for those in the company who follow the processes of sales and internationalization to deepen all aspects related to export on digital commerce platforms.

To date, has put at the service of Italian companies a solid infrastructure to encourage exports, a training calendar of over 1200 minutes of monthly webinars, the Made in Italy pavilion on, an initiative that is part of a '' extensive partnership of the ICE Agency with the Alibaba Group signed in November 2020, a team of local account managers and an important network of partners.

This further project, always with the aim of supporting Italian SMEs in making their internationalization strategy more effective, will include a training course delivered through an e-learning platform, live lessons, round tables, group sessions and modules led by partner of excellence in their business sector.

On November 16, during the launch event in Milan, organized meeting sessions between dedicated company accounts and customers, in order to listen to their expectations, answer questions and analyze performance on the site.

The technological infrastructure and the network of partners are fundamental pillars for companies, but it is increasingly important to develop digital export education, so that companies have their own independence in managing their business and especially for smaller companies. so that internal skills also mature. A recent research by Alibaba Group in collaboration with YouGov has highlighted that the main obstacles highlighted by SMEs that do not yet sell products or services internationally, there are the transport of goods and services (24%), complications and delays due to Covid ( 20%), lack of staff and resources and difficulty in understanding local regulation (19%).

"There are many concerns of SMEs and shortcomings in terms of factors to consider in strategy and processes: the Edu Export Bootcamp was born for this reason. Together with our partners we want to provide comprehensive education, not least we will promote the specialization of those professional figures dedicated to export who have established themselves in the last year ".

The completely free Edu Export Bootcamp will provide certification to participants who have taken part in the lessons at the end of the course.
