China Awards, 40 winners in the 2017 edition

Forty awarded in eight categories: 26 Italian companies, 8 Chinese, 1 Italian-Chinese partnership and 5 Golden Lions. It is the balance of the twelfth edition of the China Awards, which were presented tonight at the Museum of Science and Technology "Leonardo da Vinci" in Milan.

The 2017 edition was organized thanks to the valuable sponsorship of Air France - KLM, Everbright Innovation Investment and Intesa Sanpaolo, under the patronage of the Ministry of Economic Development, Foreign Affairs, the Environment and Protection of the Territory and the Sea, the Chamber of Italian-Chinese Commerce and in partnership with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China.

The evening was attended by Cesare Romiti, President of the Italy-China Foundation, Paolo Panerai, Vice President and CEO of Class Editori and the Consul General of the People's Republic of China, Song Xuefeng.

During the evening, the Italian and Chinese companies were awarded the best chance to seize the opportunities presented by the two markets. Eight categories of awards awarded: Capital Elite (ADR - Aeroporti di Roma, Chiesi Farmaceutici, China Investment, Giacomini, Giglio Group, Tongling Dingliang, Luca Nicodemi, Tuvia Italy - Kerry Logistics, SEA - Milan Airports), Value Creators (Products: Atlantyca Entertainment, El.En., Pharmaceutical Essences, Kiton, Metatron, Scavolini, Vladimiro Gioia - Services: By Creations, Centergross, GF Logistics, Intarget, OSM1816, Tech Silu), Excellence Italy (Brunello Cucinelli, Italian Cooperative's Trade, Pietro Coricelli, Stefano Boeri Architects, Valentino SPA), Top Investors in China (Flamma), Top Investors in Italy (Blue Engineering, Gangtai-Buccellati, Ladurner-Zoomlion, Ofo, Technogenetics), Via della Seta (Pininfarina) and Chic Group as "Innovative Entrepreneurial Ecosystem for Italian companies entering the Chinese market". The company IC & Partners is among the winners and supporters of the charity dinner.

The Leone d'Oro, awarded to personalities from the world of culture, sport and entertainment who have distinguished themselves in Italian-Chinese relations, has been presented for the culture and entertainment to the comic duo Ficarra & Picone, winners with their film "The Summer Time" of the public award at the Pingyao Film Festival, and Paolo Fresu, one of the first musicians to export Italian jazz music to China. The Golden Lions for the sporting commitment will go to Cristian Brocchi and Gianluca Zambrotta, former Rossoneri players currently in China in the staff of Fabio Capello, coach of Jiangsu Suning, and the multi-mate fencer in the saber specialty Luca Curatoli, who will participate in the World Championships Fencing in China in 2018.

The awarding of the prizes was followed by a Charity Dinner in favor of Ai.Bi - Amici dei Bambini, a non-governmental organization consisting of a movement of adoptive and foster families that deals with international adoptions and hosts a home for children in Xi. 'An, and Psy+ Onlus, non-profit organization for the dissemination of good practices in psychology and psychotherapy, already supported in the last edition, which continues to be constantly present at Accumoli and Amatrice, to ensure professional interventions to support the people who have lived the difficult experience of the earthquake in central Italy. During dinner, with over 300 participants, there will be a raffle and a charity auction, the proceeds of some lots will go to Insuperabili Onlus that, together with Reset Academy, since 2012 promotes football schools for boys and girls with disabilities.
