The Italy China Foundation, the Italy-China Chamber of Commerce and AICE - Italian Foreign Trade Association organize the collective participation of Italian companies at the second edition of the CHINA INTERNATIONAL IMPORT EXPO of SHANGHAI, scheduled from 5 to 10 November 2019.
After the success of the first edition, the China International Import Expo, the first fair in China dedicated exclusively to the importation of products and services that encourages the presence of foreign exhibitors, will be held this year. From 5 to 10 November next, the event will host foreign companies interested in presenting their products and services in China: the aim of the initiative, promoted by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and by the Municipality of Shanghai, is to provide new opportunities business to countries and regions around the world, strengthen cooperation and promote the development of the global economy.
The first edition was attended by 150 countries and 3617 exhibitors, who presented their products and services to 600 thousand operators, including 400 thousand domestic buyers and over 6000 foreign buyers on an exhibition area of 270 thousand square meters (click on this link to see the video of the 2018 edition). Last year, the Italy-China Foundation, the Italian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and AICE accompanied a large group of Italian companies to the exhibition and the Foundation supported the Puglia Region, which presented the excellent food and wine products of its territory in Shanghai.
Organized by the CIIE Bureau and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, this year the fair will actively involve the Italy-China Foundation, the Italian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and AICE who have signed a collaboration agreement for the promotion of the event and the organization of a presence of Italian companies at the event, thus contributing to provide greater visibility to exhibitors of our country towards visitors and the media (click here to read the CIIE 2019 presentation).
The fair will be organized in sector pavilions, divided by products (Consumer Electronics & Appliances, Apparel, Accessories & Consumer Goods, Automobile, High-End Intelligent Equipment, Food & Agricultural products, Medical equipment & Healthcare products, Quality life / Luxury products) and services (Tourism, Financial Services, Culture & Education, Logistics).
The interested companies, in the various specialized pavilions, are offered the opportunity to participate with individual stands or in collective exhibition areas.
