CW 2019 - The race for technological leadership, between cooperation and competition

On Tuesday 28 May there will be the ninth edition of the China Watcher - Maria Weber Annual Conference.

The conference is part of the activities of the China Program promoted by ISPI and Pirelli and Focus China, the ISPI project and the Italy-China Foundation on business opportunities in the country. The event is scheduled at Palazzo Clerici from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm and will be attended by the speakers of our General Manager, Vincenzo Petrone.
Thanks also to the "Made in China 2025" program, China has accelerated the race for technological leadership. The strong response of the Trump administration was not long in coming, as the commercial tensions also demonstrate. What direction will the international system take in the light of increasingly fierce competition in hi-tech sectors? What face will the global economy have in a possible new era of Fintech modeled on the Chinese example? Finally, what is the scenario for Europe between China and the United States?

To the works, which will be opened by Paolo MAGRI, ISPI; Vincenzo PETRONE, FOUNDATION ITALY CHINA China and Ettore SEQUI, Ambassador of Italy in China (in connection), will participate among others: Alessia AMIGHINI, ISPI; Alessandro BRUNO, COMAU; Paolo GIUDICI, University of Pavia and European Horizon2020; Filippo FASULO, CeSIF - Italy-China Foundation; Filippo Maria GRASSO, China National Rubber and Tire Co. and Pirelli; Livio MIGNANO, SACE; Valeria NEGRI, Assolombarda and ZHANG Ge, National University of Singapore and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

Participation is free with mandatory registration at this link.
Access to the hall will be guaranteed until the maximum capacity is reached.
