OBOR Exhibition will be a meeting place where the best expressions of production, technology, craftsmanship and innovation from China will find a showcase, in an event inspired by the broader OBOR initiative launched by Premier Xi Jinping in 2013 and currently known as the BELT & ROAD strategy. Divided between an exhibition, a forum and B2B, the event will have a national and international involvement with the participation of buyers, institutions and delegations from all over Italy and abroad.

China is the new frontier of the world economy and the exhibition world must play a strategic role in strengthening relations, not just commercial, between countries. In this direction, the contract signed last year in Chengdu, during the 13th edition of the EU-China Business and Technology Cooperation Fair, between UGI and Fiera di Roma for the organization of the initiative next May.

The operation was built by the Internationalization Agency HUB, UGI's partner for Europe - Union Glory International Exhibition, a Chinese company that operates in the organization of international exhibitions, conferences, import and export services of goods and technologies and support for SMEs. The activity is one of the goals that UGI has set itself for the next few years, including the expansion of its scope beyond China and the construction of an international collaboration platform that involves subjects from all over the world.
